Family members recalled being told that the veil was made with Italian lace. Entirely hand-sewn, the veil remains a remarkable example of craftsmanship, carrying its history from one generation to the next.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOur goal was not to alter the character of the veil, but to thoughtfully adapt it for a new wearer. We added a detachable wristlet bustle made with ivory Japanese double-face satin ribbon, allowing the bride to comfortably carry the veil throughout the celebration while preserving the original veil. The bustle is secured with a discreet metal snap and can be removed entirely.
