Luz & Eugene

Cinematic from the start, Luz’s vision drew from 1940s Hollywood glamour, warm ivory tones and fluid silk. Luz and Eugene imagined something between a wedding and a film premiere, elegant, intentional, quietly dramatic. A silky halter gown in vintage champagne ivory established the mood. Satin, mink, feathers and silk followed.

On the day of the wedding, Luz wore the ivory satin hair bow to City Hall. Afterward, they walked through New York City, pausing for photographs and moving from ceremony to celebration. The long ribbon tails caught the light as she moved beside Eugene. Placed within her curls, the bow felt effortless, allowing her to focus entirely on the moment.

At the Williamsburg, Brooklyn showroom, Luz met with Ash, accessory designer and owner of WORKROOM 1991. Luz arrived with a clear aesthetic and trusted Ash to guide the material, silhouette, and overall feeling.
Luz initially imagined wearing a veil. In the showroom, as she tried on accessories, the bow began to feel more aligned with the cinematic tone of her day. The process felt collaborative and intentional, centered on her overall look. When Luz left, the bow felt entirely her own.

At The Beekman Hotel, for her second look, Luz changed out of a marabou feather jacket and into a mink stole. Against the soaring ceilings and historic architecture, the bow held its own. Layered over her gown, the mink shifted the look from day to night. Beneath the interior light, Luz and Eugene stood radiant, unmistakably glamorous.
