Return & Refund Policy

How to Request a Return

To request a return, please email contact@workroom1991.com within 7 days of delivery and include your order number.

“Delivery” refers to the date the carrier marks the order as delivered.

Return Eligibility

Returns must be requested within 7 days of delivery. Once approved, items must be shipped back promptly.

To be eligible for a return, items must be unworn or unused and returned in original condition. Items must show no signs of wear, alteration, or use. Returns sent without prior authorization may not be accepted.

We reserve the right to refuse any return that does not meet the conditions outlined above.

Approved returns will be refunded to the original form of payment, excluding original shipping costs.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, you will be notified of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, refunds will be issued to the original form of payment within 5–10 business days. Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider.

Original shipping costs are non-refundable. Return shipping label fees are deducted from the total refund.

Return Shipping

For approved returns, WORKROOM 1991 will provide a prepaid return shipping label.

The cost of the return shipping label will be deducted from the total refund once the item has been received and inspected.

Returns must be shipped promptly after the return label is issued.

Returns must be sent using the provided shipping label to ensure tracking and safe delivery back to our studio. Returns must be scanned in by the carrier to be considered in transit.

In-Person Purchases

All items purchased in person at our Williamsburg studio showroom are final sale and are not eligible for return or refund. In-studio purchases are subject to our in-studio purchase policy and differ from our online store policies.

Final Sale

Items marked Final Sale are not eligible for return or refund.

All custom orders are final sale.

All bridal ribbon is final sale.

Exchanges

At this time, we do not offer exchanges. If you would like a different item, please return the original item in accordance with our return policy and place a new order.

Damaged Items

If your item is damaged during transit, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the exterior packaging, internal packing materials, and the damaged item so that we may file a claim with the carrier.

Claims with carriers cannot be processed without the required photo documentation.

If the required documentation is not provided, we may be unable to file a claim with the carrier and cannot be held responsible for items damaged during transit.
