VINTAGE BRIDAL VEILS REDESIGNED IN OUR BROOKLYN STUDIO

We removed the original plastic comb and replaced it with a smaller, more discreet metal hair comb, hand-wrapped with Italian tulle. The original hairpin loops were repositioned to complement the bride’s hairstyle.

This bride honored her mother by wearing her heirloom veil, but the original shape wasn't quite right. We initially considered removing the original corded lace appliqué and hand-sewing it onto a new veil. Ultimately, we decided to flip the veil on its head, quite literally. Turning the veil upside down instantly transformed the silhouette, creating something that felt more aligned with the bride's style while still honoring the original veil. From there, we carefully trimmed portions of the corded lace appliqué to soften and round the shape, allowing it to frame the face and further refine the silhouette.
